MEDICAL DOCTOR FOR ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY AND TRAUMATOLOGY, SPECIAL TRAUMA SURGERY, SPORTS MEDICINE, EMERGENCY MEDICINE
Henrik Bäcker, born in Frankfurt/Main, Germany on January 18th 1990, studied medicine at Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary and graduated with summa cum laude in June 2024.
He holds several appointments as honorary associate Professor at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, associate Professor at the Charité Berlin, Germany and is board certified orthopaedic and trauma surgeon. Further he is specialized in special trauma surgery, as well as emergency medicine and sports medicine.
Research-wise he published more than 60 articles as first author and presented his findings at national and international conferences. Further he completed his academic doctorate and Ph.D. at Semmelweis University and his professional doctorate at the University of Heidelberg. Henrik has gained multinational experience in Switzerland, Monaco, Germany, United States of America, Australia and New Zealand and is double fellowship trained spine surgeon with focus on orthopaedic trauma, degenerative diseases and tumors. He also completed a postdoc fellowship in orthopaedic surgery, hands, microvascular surgery and traumatology at Columbia University Medical Center, New York.
Besides his clinical work and research he completed his master of law in international business law with focus on the modern slavery legislation and obtained his executive master of business administration through quantic school of business and technology.
